DAV University at Jalandhar traces its roots to the legacy that has been reforming and redefining Indias educational scenario for 127 years. Giani Zail Singh, Punjab Technical University Campus, Bathinda was the first technical institute established by Government of Punjab. The foundation stone was laid by His Excellency Sidharth Shankar Ray, then Governor of Punjab in 1989.
