SNDT Womens University is the first Womens university in India as well as in South-East Asia. The University was founded by Maharshi Dr. Dhondo Keshav Karve in 1916 for a noble cause of Womens Education. The first five women graduated in 1921 from this University. The University Headquarters is in Churchgate Campus, Mumbai and the other two campuses of this University are at Juhu, Mumbai and Karve Road, Pune.

S.S.R Medical, Educational and Charitable Trust (R ) Bangalore was established in the year 1998, with the predetermined objective of providing quality education in their chosen field and develop people of character and caliber to evolve competent citizenry of the futuristic global village.

The Shree Devi Education Trust situated at Mangalore, Karnataka, India, established in year 1992 was founded by educationalists having vast experience in the field of college education. The College is located in ideal surroundings , 1/2 k.m from the bus stand, 2 k.m from railway station and 16 kms from the airport. The founder, Chairman of the trust Sri A.Sadananda Shetty is a receipent of the Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi Award.

OMAYAL ACHI COLLEGE OF NURSING started B.Sc(Nursing) course in 1992 with an annual intake of 50 students and M.Sc(Nursing) in 1995 with an annual intake of 10 students subsequently we increased to 20 seats. At present we have 200 B.Sc(Nursing) students and 40 M.Sc(Nursing) Students.
