The Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Engineering at Chennai was started by the Mohamed Sathak Trust in 2001. The College is approved by the AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai. Located at Egattur on the Old Mahabalipuram Road, now known as the Rajiv Gandhi Salai, the Mohamed Sathak A.J. College of Engineering offers 8 Undergraduate and 2 Postgraduate courses to over 1300 students. All the courses offered by the college have been accredited by National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It is a co-educational institution with the noble aim of imparting quality technical education.
