Candidates must have passed the BPT from any recognized University and must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Students who are foreign nationals/non-resident Indians/persons of Indian origin must obtain a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, before admission.

Good residential facilities are available for Undergraduate & Postgraduate medical students in the University Campus. There are separate hostels with adequate rooms for undergraduate boys and girls.
