The sponsoring society of the University (Himalayan Institute Hospital Trust) provides financial assistance to all meritorious students who are not in a position to pay their fee to the University thus encouraging them for higher studies.

Good residential facilities are available for Undergraduate & Postgraduate medical students in the University Campus. There are separate hostels with adequate rooms for undergraduate boys and girls. Studio apartments are available for postgraduate students. The undergraduate students are not allowed to keep any vehicle, however, PG students are allowed.
