The KMEA Engineering college is dedicated to the fond memory of Jb C H Mohammed Koya, a dynamic visionary, who was not just an eminent politician and administrator, but a friend, philosopher and guide to the muslim community. He was also a renowned educationalist who believed that quality education is the true path to progress. At present, the KMEA promotes the Seethi Sahib Memorial PolyTechnic at TIrur, the first aided polytechnic in Kerala, the Al-Manar Public School at Kuzhivelipady and several hostels in and around Ernakulam.
