Long recognised as an excellent preparation in fields such as law, business management, financial & management accounting etc., it prepares graduates in essential skills for almost every arena of work. Imparting practical knowledge of the discipline in areas of financial accounting and auditing, company law and income tax, the Department prides itself on being a close knit group. The faculty members are known for their expertise in finance and organizational behaviour. The annual academic festival COMQUEST brings corporates and students together in a stimulating dialogue. To ensure that students make headway in today's competitive environment, talks, paper presentations and field visits are encouraged. The department emphasizes on extra curricular activities along with ensuring academic excellence to bring about wholesome development of students. In the academic session 2007-08, the department organised a national seminar on entrepreneurship followed by a national level inter-college meet. As a part of this endeavour, we invited eminent speakers like Mr. Sabeer Bhatia (Founder, Hotmail), Mr. Kunwer Sachdev (Founder, Sukam), Mr. Brij Mohan Munjal (Founder, Hero Honda) and other well known speakers. The department boasts of 250% placements in leading organisations like Lehman Brothers, KPMG, Bain Capability Centre, Mercer, UBS, Google and Deltoit with a highest annual package of 12 lakh rupees.
