The Committee was established to help students make informed career choices. To this end, the Committee has over the years organized career fairs, skill enhancement workshops, presentations by professional career counselors etc. The Committee has also been increasingly involved in on-campus recruitment and has facilitated job placements for students in reputed organsations. Google, Tata Consultancy Services, GE Capital, Standard Chartered, Genpact, Watson Wyatt and HCL .are among the reputed companies that have visited the college for placements in the past few years.

There are 200 seats in Kalavati Gupta Hostel and 160 seats in Indraprastha College Women’s Hostel.
