The Training & Placement Cell of the college is working as a team under the leadership of the coordinator Dr. N E Jaffar. The team consists of the committee members from each department and a group of dedicated students. Every activity of the Cell is monitored by Dr. N E Jaffar and Dr. S. Suresh. The Cell pay extra effort to invite reputed companies over the campus and extends due hospitality to make them confortable in the campus. The cell helps a large number of students to secure employment in reputed organizations through campus recruitment. The cell also helps students in arranging vacation training and project work for them in industries. The T&P Cell arranges periodic training and Personality development programs.

TKM College of Engineering offers ample hostel facilities for the students. There are separate College hostels for boys and girls. Accommodation is available for 500 boys and 250 girls in the hostels. International hostel is is set aside for foreign students and postgraduate students. The hostels provide a calm and relaxing atmosphere to accelerate the creative talents of the students. The teachers who act as resident wardens of the hostels provide moral and emotional support and guidance to the inmates.
