The course which is divided into eight semesters, each of six months aims to provide engineering professionals with the breadth of expertise to create economic, efficient solutions to today's engineering challenges. The first two semesters are common for all branches of engineering. Students will have to appear for internal examination (theory and practical) of the college between semesters and for university examination (theory and practical) at the end of every semester. A combination of lectures and seminar will provide a thorough understanding of the main elements of the communication system.
10+2 Admission to the B. Tech Program would be made on the basis of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) , conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The college having a wide hinterland has good hostel facilities for both male and female students. The Boy's hostel has a capacity of 120 boarders. The Girls' hostel has a capacity of 100 boarders. Students are admitted to the hostels on the basis of distance of their residence from the hostels and their respective merit.
