The mechanical engineering department of IES college of engineering provides quality education and industry oriented training. Our mission is to would the students with all inputs necessary to become a successful mechanical engineer.
Our department consists of 2 lecturers and 6 faculties assisting in the workshop. The workshop is headed by the foreman. He is ably assisted by 5trade instructors for various sections like carpentry, machine shop, sheet metal, fitting and welding. All the faculties working in the department are well qualified and experienced.
The workshop consists of various machines like drilling, grinder, shaper milling, Power hacksaw, shearing, welding machines and various other tools required to conduct workshop for first years.

Training and Placement is an integral and a very important part of the academic career of any engineering graduate seeking right perspective and orientation before entering into the job market. Separate hostels are arranged for men and women with facilities for 100 wards in each. Well designed rooms, delicious and nutritive culinary, hygienic bathrooms.
