The Senior Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 examination after a period of 12 years study, the last two years of the study comprising Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics or any other elective subject with English as compulsory subject (English at a level not less than the core course or English as prescribed by the NCERT) or its equivalent certificate and must have obtained a minimum of 50% (40% for SC / ST / OBC / SBC) marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at the qualifying examination.

Hostel Facility
The hostel provides a cot, a studvy table, a chair and one almirah for each student. Each hostel has hot water facility, common telephone, common TV room, common reading room, dining arrangements and in-door games facilities. There is adequate dining space for all students to dine at one time. Membership to the mess run in the hostel is compulsory.
