This department was established in 1968 and was among the first to offer a degree in electronics in the country. AICTE –TAPTEK project is being carried out in this department and it uses conventional methods of teaching. The department has a one of its kind Network laboratory in simulation and modeling and an Advanced Microprocessor lab and E C lab.
