Narula Institute of Technology is a unit of JIS Group of academic institutions, managed under the Narula Educational Trust. It was established by Sardar Jodh Singh, an esteemed & eminent industrialist, whose very life defines the word "Karamyogi". Belonging to the rare breed of successful industrialists who feel that they owe a debt to be society and are committed to repay it, he set up this Charitable Trust with a view to imparting education of highest quality in various fields, particularly in technology and management, the two core areas which are of immense need in to-days world in a developing country like ours. Narula Institute of Technolgy was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri Buddhadeb Bhattacharya on August 17th 2001, Hon'ble Minister of Higher Education, Sri Satya Sadhan Chakraborty also graced the occasion.
