A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Textiles (B.Text.) degree course of the University should have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Std.XII) examination conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune, or its equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured not less than 50% marks in the subject of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together at one and the same sitting (45% in the subjects of physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together at one and the same sitting for Backward Class candidates from Maharashtra State only).
