Course Details

The Department of ECE, MECRC has well-arranged practical labs with the latest equipments, systematically lined-up lecture theatres, and comfortable faculty cabins. The Department of ECE has a separate well-equipped Project Lab, that is mainly used for the purpose of major projects that the final year students have to develop in-house. All the equipments, hardware components, etc that are required for the projects are available easily so that the students could accomplish their projects without any need to search for anything outside the college premises. The students of ECE department could use Seminar Room to deliberate their final presentations and seminars. The Seminar Room is well-furnished with a pretty good seating arrangement, proper cooling arrangement, facility for LCD Projector, coller mikes etc. The Department of ECE cherishes its intellectual faculty that is always ready to help the students in every possible way.

Placement Assistance

We have a separate cell for Training & Placement, whose main emphasis is on maximum Campus Placements for all talented students. This cell is being run under the able leadership of Prof. K. M. Bhandari. This year, our whole thrust was to have better placements for our students. Our efforts have shown fruits. It is a matter of great pleasure that not only all the eligible students of Final Year (2008 Batch) are placed in various National & Multi-National organizations, but some students have also got multiple options. Several students of pre-final year (2009 Batch) have already been placed and, that is something to be really proud of. Students are getting annual packages from 1.80 lacs to 14.00 lacs.

The Infrastructure also includes air-cooled & cosy hostels for the students, with separate accomodation facilities for both girls and boys. The other facilities include a playground, a hygienic mess etc. There is also a provision for Staff Residence. For outstation students, who would like to take accommodation, a likely question that is sure to arise is regarding the ambience and facilities of the hostel. Many outstation students would be concerned about the accommodation facility that is affordable, safe and within the college premises. The admission to the college will be as per the policies and rules of RPETEAP, Govt. of Rajasthan, A.I.C.T.E., New Delhi, Rajasthan Technical University, Kota As per TFWS,MECRC heads towards contributing to the society and has added 10% more seats(10% of 420=42)to the already allotted seats(420),so as to help the economically poor candidates.And it is also a matter of immense delight that MECRC has declared the current session(2009-2010) as an almost 100% academic session.
