Course Details
The world over, post graduate studies are a normal part of basic engineering education. The time has come when post graduation has become a mandatory recruitment for various positions in Industry, R&D organizations and Govt. sectors.
Engineering education is one sector where AICTE has already prescribed M.Tech. as the minimum qualification for a Lecturer. However, existing teachers with B.Tech qualification are allowed a time of 5 years to complete their PG qualification.

B.Tech. or an equivalent degree in the allied branch of Engineering with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized University OR MCA or M.Sc. degree in a related branch with 60% or higher aggregate marks from a recognized University.

Scholarship
A student shall be evaluated for academic performance in a course through tutorials, homework, assignments, quizzes and mid semester tests and final theory examination. Scholarship Evaluation of a course is based on the weightage assigned to various components of the course examination scheme (without practical marks). Components are designated as under:
CWM Class Work Marks will be awarded on the basis of attendance (10%), assignments, quizzes taken in the class and workshops attended, paper presented/published in national / international conferences/journals (10%). (Weightage: 20%)
MSM Mid Semester Examination Marks (Two tests will be conducted during the semester and the average of the two will be considered to finalize the marks). (Weightage: 20%)
FTM Final Theory Examination Marks (Weightage: 60%)

Hostel Facility
The Boys' and Girls' Hostels are located on the campus. Hostel dinning services provide good quality and nutritious food to students and the Menu is regularly reviewed by a Committee of students and faculty members in accordance with the tastes and likings of the students. Hostels also provide its residents an access to indoor and outdoor game facilities and recreational opportunities.
