Scholarship
A student shall be evaluated for academic performance in a course through tutorials, homework, assignments, quizzes and mid semester tests and final theory examination. Scholarship Evaluation of a course is based on the weightage assigned to various components of the course examination scheme (without practical marks). Components are designated as under:
CWM Class Work Marks will be awarded on the basis of attendance (10%), assignments, quizzes taken in the class and workshops attended, paper presented/published in national / international conferences/journals (10%). (Weightage: 20%)
MSM Mid Semester Examination Marks (Two tests will be conducted during the semester and the average of the two will be considered to finalize the marks). (Weightage: 20%)
FTM Final Theory Examination Marks (Weightage: 60%)

Hostel Facility
The Boys' and Girls' Hostels are located on the campus. Hostel dinning services provide good quality and nutritious food to students and the Menu is regularly reviewed by a Committee of students and faculty members in accordance with the tastes and likings of the students. Hostels also provide its residents an access to indoor and outdoor game facilities and recreational opportunities.

Admission in the B.Tech. program is offered on the basis of merit at 10+2 level or equivalent.
The merit shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in Mathematics, Physics and any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science or Physics / Biology / any one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science at 10+2 level. Marks in English shall be given a weight age of 10%.
