The department of ECE was established in 2001 with an intake of 60 students in the UG programme. The intake was enhanced to 90 in 2005. In the year 2007 an additional intake of 30 was sanctioned. The department also runs Post Graduate programme, M.Tech (VLSI System Design), which started from year 2007 with an intake of 18 students and another Post Graduate programme, M.Tech(Embedded System) started from year 2008 with an intake of 18 students.

    Hostels Girls Hostel An exclusive hostel is provided for the girl students in the Kodad town with all facilities. Students are monitored by women faculty in the hostel and are always available to clarify the doubts of the girl students. Boys Hostel The hostel for the boys is provided within the campus.
