Department of Information Technology was formed in 2001. It is one of the departments functioning from the inception of the Institution. The Department is offering B.Tech. programme from 2001 with an initial intake of 60. The intake is increased to 90 in the year 2007. So far, four batches have graduated. From the year 2008, the M.Tech (Software Engineering) programme with an initial intake of 18 is started. The Department has two state-of-the-art Computer Laboratories. One Laboratory for B.Tech students and another lab for M.Tech Students. An IT Workshop for all First B.Tech students is also available to impart the basic concepts of Hardware and Software. The department always strives to thrive for the student’s career to reach new heights.

    Hostels Girls Hostel An exclusive hostel is provided for the girl students in the Kodad town with all facilities. Students are monitored by women faculty in the hostel and are always available to clarify the doubts of the girl students. Boys Hostel The hostel for the boys is provided within the campus. The students are provided with Internet facility and recreation facilities.
