The Continental Group made its debut in the field of education in 2001 in it's campus at Mohali. The maiden Program was in the field of Automobile engineering & Marketting. Continental Institute of Engineering and Technology(CIET) was established under the aegis of Continental Group in the year 2008. The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi ( AICTE letter no F. No.: 06/04/PUN-ENGG-/2008/055 Dated 23 June, 2008), Government of Punjab ( Notification No 13/20/2008-1TE2/2009, Dated 27 June, 2008) , and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar.
