Mechanical Engineering department has been established in 1999. The department has highly qualified staff with industrial experience. Department undertakes R&D activities and consultancy assignments extensively. The students of the department also excel in the University and secure merit ranks every year. Prof. Q. S. Zakiuudin is Assistant professor and Head of Department. The Central workshop with an area of 1027.5 Sqm has a separate building. The workshop has five major sections namely, fitting, carpentry, welding, smithy, & Machine. It is fully equipped with machines.
