The Department of Biotechnology which is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation, AICTE was germinated with a vision to be among the top institutes in the country by providing quality education in the area of biotechnology. The faculty takes extra care to give encouragement and guidance to every student to participate in various technical seminars and workshops organised by other institutions, and present technical papers. The department is supported by well-qualified and well-trained non-teaching technical staff as well.

    Training & Placement Cell is functioning to provide all possible assistance to students in their efforts to find employment and also to carter to the needs of various organizations in conducting campus interviews for placements.     NCET provides hostel facilities separately for boys and girls inside the campus with stay-in wardens. NCET has six hostels for boys including one hostel to accommodate NRI students and one separate hostel facility for girls. The six gent’s hostels have the capacity to accommodate 500 students. The girl’s hostel can accommodate 100 students. The atmosphere in the hostel is conducive to the development of the cosmopolitan outlook; the students develop integrated personalities over a period of harmonious living in the hostels.
