Course Details
The programme is specifically directed to upgrade the critical thinking skills, competencies and standards required for practice of professional nursing and midwifery as envisaged in national health policy. The programmes are intended to enable the graduates and assume responsibilities as professional, competent nurse and midwife in providing promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative services.
In 2 years programme, the college offers an educational and clinical experiences as well as technological exposures to the students. Students have excellent and challenging opportunities as they are professionally involved to explore nursing through field visits to communities, Primary Health Centers.

Qualify in GNM after 10+2 or equivalent preferably with science subjects. Candidates should be a registered nurse midwife or equivalent with any State Nursing Council.
