Placement Assistance
The Placement Cell organized a career counselling session for the students entitled “What after Graduation”. The session was well attended and lots of queries were answered by the panel of experts. The Central Placement Cell of the Delhi University under the office of Dean Students Welfare was set up last year. This year more than 140 students from our college enrolled in the cell.
The Placement Cell under the convenorship of Dr. Poonam Bewtra is continuing its efforts to place a large number of students in renowned business organizations. We expect companies whom we have been interacting with for a few years now, like Flour Daniel, Wipro, Genpact, IBM Daksh and ICICI Prudential, to recruit our students in large numbers this year as well. Despite the recession last year, Flour Daniel still offered appointment letters as Graduate Account Trainees to nine B.Com (Hons.) students.
