To create a healthy competition among the students for academic excellence, the college has planned merit scholarships. A student obtaining position in the first five rankings overall or first two rankings branch wise in the university semester examination is awarded merit scholarship by the Eshan College of Engineering.

The college has well-furnished separate air-cooledand luxurious air-conditioned hostel rooms separately for boys and girls within the campus. Girl's hostel includestwo blocks while boy's hostel contains total six blocks. Internet facility through wireless local area network has also been planned for the hostel residents, such that they can access to Internet from their room if their computer has Bluetooth communication interface.
