Master of Computer Applications (MCA), the three years Post Graduate Degree Programme, provides an intensive training in Computer Science and Applications areas, developing the students as Computer Software Professionals. The MCA curriculum induces the Applications of Computer Science into areas such as Finance, Management, Economics, Automation and Business. The specialized topics such as Object Oriented Programming, Computer Graphics, Compiler Design, Computer Networks, Operating Systems, Database Management Systems, Middleware Technologies, Distributed Computing, Theory of Computation prepare the students to meet the requirements of the enterprises.
The Course is approved by AICTE and affiliated to Bangalore University having an intake capacity of 40 students. 50% of the intake is through government quota(PGCET) and the remaining 50% through KMAT. The duration of the study is six semester spanning a period of three years.
Graduate A candidate with any degree of minimum 3 years with 50% marks in aggregate of all subjects including languages if any provided further, the candidate has studied Mathematics/Computer Science/Business Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Applications/Computer Programming/Electronics as a subject at PUC level.
