BIT Institute of Technology (BITIT), Anantapur was established in 2001 by by Sri Venkateswara Educational Society. The college is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Anantapur. The courses in the institute are offered with the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The institute offers 4-Year B Tech courses in several disciplines. The college is accredited by NBA, New Delhi.
The objective of the institution is to provide technical education to rural mass and it is the only engineering college in the Hindupur mandal. There vision is to impart excellence in Engineering education, to meet the corporate, R & D, service, industries, technological requirements matching with global standards.
