With this clear aim of preparing responsible teachers who love their work and their learners, the Department of Education strives round the clock in generating versatile teachers with a human face.

Academic and Co-curricular activities are regularly organized besides classroom teaching to enhance the conceptual understanding and sensitivity on various issues and concerns in education and the society in a larger context.

individualized attention to each student is a unique feature of the department. This is done through a spectrum of activities such as presentations, group discussions, personality development classes and counseling sessions. Presently, the department has an intake of 200 students in session 2011-12.
