To create a healthy competition among the students for academic excellence, the college has planned merit scholarships. A student obtaining position in the first five rankings overall or first two rankings branch wise in the university semester examination is awarded merit scholarship by the Sharda Educational Trust.

The college management and administration are aware that student’s hostel located inside the campus would facilitate better participation by the students in the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, even long after the college working hours.
