IIAE offers Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) course, which is approved by Directorate General of Civil Aviation, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India vide letter no. 5 DAW/IIAE/Vol.I/AI(2) dated 29/11/2002. IIAE has approvals for the following streams.

Eligibility
For getting admission in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering course a candidate should meet eligibility criteria of DGCA, Govt. of India, i.e. 10+2 with minimum 50% marks (aggregate) in Physics and Mathematics. or a three years diploma in engineering or a higher qualification in science with Physics and Mathematics. Candidates with PCM in 10+2. The candidates who have secured a minimum of 70% marks in PCM in 10+2 level examination may be enrolled directly subject to availability of seats. Candidates whose aggregate marks in PCM is less than 70% and a minimum of 50% aggregate in physics and maths in 10+2 level examination are required to qualify the entrance examination conducted by the institute.
