DBIT is committed to fulfill the dreams of young aspiring managers & IT Professionals by preparing them and providing enough opportunities towards placing them in their dream companies. Placements in the institute are conducted under the aegis of the "Training & Placement Cell' which is essentially a student representative body under the able guidance of senior faculty members and dedicated training & placement officers.

To encourage the bright and deserving candidates the Uttarakhand Uthan Samiti motivate students with the scholarships in the form of fee waivers, free bus pass for few months, few free canteen coupons etc.

Students who have enrolled themselves in DBIT, can get the educational loan after fulfilling the terms and conditions of the respective banks. In past many of our students, have been benefited by the Educational loan facility. The names of some of the banks (who have sanctioned educational loan in the year 2004-2005) are given below.

To cater outstation students, DBIT has arranged to offer a Hostel accommodation Quality mess facility. There are separate hostels for boys and required furniture. Hostel has got the telephone receiving facility.
