Rama Engineering Colleges also offer Master of Computer Applications (MCA) through its college Rama Institute of Engineering and Technology (RIET) at Mandhana Campus, Kanpur. MCA is a AICTE approved and recognised course and has 60 Seats intake approval in RIET, Kanpur. It is affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University (formerly UPTU).

As per AICTE norms, MCA is a three-year (six semesters) professional Master's Degree Program. It covers various aspects of computational theory, programming, algorithm design and optimisation, network and database management, mobile technologies, electronics, mathematics, probability, statistics, accounting, finance, etc.

The course is designed to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology (computer software). It is a postgraduate course that can be taken up after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree (Mathematics as compulsory subject).

Hostel Facility

There are two separate hostels for boys and girls in the campus itself. Each hostel is self contained with State of Art amenities such as reading room, indoor games room, Multi-gym, lounge and dining hall, a mess and high speed wi-fi internet connectivity.

Each Hostel has its own comfortably furnished common room with cable TV and ample space for socializing.

There are no old-fashioned dormitories. Each study bedroom is occupied by two students. All the rooms are spacious enough to ensure comfortable living. All rooms are furnished with wardrobes, beds, study table, chairs, and book shelves.
