As observed by national surveys and also by the International Commission on Education for Sustainable Development Practice (ICESDP), the McArthur Foundation and The Earth Institute, Columbia University, we need professionals who act as change agents in social development, understanding the complex underpinnings of natural sciences, health sciences, social sciences and management. It is a well established fact that there is acute need for professionals to carry forward the agenda of sustainable development and inclusive growth. With this in view, BIMTECH has started a Masters in Sustainable Development Practices (SDP). The SDP programme envisages two terms of field training with a national or international organization. Graduates should get challenging and meaningful opportunities for employment with diverse range of institutions and organizations.
