There are two independent Training & Placement Cells - One for Haryana School of Business and the other for Engineering courses. In addition, every department has a Training & Placement In-charge who coordinates these activities with the Central Training & Placement Cells. There is one Training and Placement Advisory Council headed by the Vice-Chancellor.

To provide residential facilities in the form of hostel accommodation to the maximum number of students is in the priority of Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology. University provides hostel accommodation to all girls students who make a request for it. There are six hostels for boys and girls in the university, which can house more than 1600 students

The selection of a candidate for admission to a course will be based on merit list drawn on the basis of the score in the Entrance Test subject to fulfilling other conditions as given in the Prospectus. However, for admission to M.Tech. and M.Pharma programmes, candidates with valid GATE score will not be required to appear in the entrance test but are required to purchase the University Prospectus and fill the application form. 2. Results of Entrance Test will be displayed on the date(s) given in Prospectus " Admission Schedule". 3. (a) Merit list for admission to the 1st semester of various courses except M.Tech. & M. Pharm. courses shall be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Entrance Test only. (b) The entrance test will carry 180 marks. (c) The entrance test will be of 3 hours duration and will comprise Multiple Choice (objective type) Questions with one correct answer. (d) There will NOT be negative marking.
