Like the destination at the end of a long journey, placements produce the same kind of excitement and happiness in the students at IIMI. After a grueling regime for the last two years, the PGP participants at IIMI gear up for the companies coming onto campus and look forward to the culmination of their efforts in the form of attractive jobs that will be offered. The placement cell at IIMI is involved right from the beginning of the year be it the preparation of the placement brochure to the summer placements and the final recruitments their efforts are always directed towards providing the best interface as representatives of an institute of high repute.

The PGP, EPGP & IPM are currently full-time residential programmes. Single-seated / twin-sharing accommodation facilities are available for all participants in the campus premises, with separate blocks / floors for men and women. EPGP participants have a separate EPGP hostel block while as of now limited married accommodation is also available for PGP/FPM participants. A separate hostel block is being constructed for FPM participants. Aesthetically designed, the hostel blocks are spread around the canteen, on the sides of the hillock. The hostels are interconnected, mostly in blocks of three. Each of the blocks has a square in the center where basketball and/or badminton courts with artificial turf are maintained, with some blocks also having lawns in the square. Each hostel block has a common room where facilities such as wall-mounted televisions with DTH connection, table-tennis tables, dart game and carrom and chess games are available. It is the common room that provides the scene of action for get-togethers, parties and informal discussions. Each block is also equipped with water coolers and water purifiers. Apart from these facilities the hostel premises also house a medical centre, State Bank of India ATM and other facilities like barbershop, laundry services, courier services etc.
