The Training and Placement Cell acts as an interface between the students at PDM and the industry, and enables the students to make better and more informed career choices. The placement cell provides guidance and assistance to students by inviting captains from industry/ academia to share their knowledge and experience with students through guest lectures, workshops, and seminars, and helps them securing suitable positions. The Placement Cell publishes the Placement Brochure, and organizes summer and final placements. PDM graduates & post graduates have been well placed in leading private/ public sector organizations.

The college maintains eight furnished hostels (4 for boys and 4 for girls) with all the modern facilities like water coolers, geysers, television, telephone and air coolers for students of the Engineering and Pharmacy college.
