The admission of students to the MBA (Full time two years ) course is through t he Siksha ‘O' Anusandhan Admission Test (SAAT) and also the Admission Test Conducted by All India Management Association MAT, CAT, XAT, ATMA, JMET, State level JEE.
Pass or appearing (in the year 2011) three year Bachelor Degree in Science, Commerce and Arts / B.E. / B.Tech. / MBBS / BHMS / BAMS / BDS / BPT / BHMCT / BBA / BCA examination or equivalent in 2010 from any recognised University having at least 50% of marks. Candidate having a minimum composite score of 500 in MAT or any other equivalent test are exempted from appearing SAAT-2011. They are required only to submit the filled up application form.Admission will be done on the basis of performance in SAAT-2011 or MAT followed by group discussion and personal interview (GD / PI), all taken together.
The Placement Cell at Faculty of Management, Institute of Business & Computer Studies is managed by a Placement Officer (S.B.Dash) guided by Faculty Coordinator Asst.Prof.Uma Shankar Mishra and the Dean. The role of the placement cell includes assisting students in securing internships after their first year of studies and assisting students to find suitable job opportunities in reputed organizations after completion of studies. The placement cell is able to achieve its goal through excellent Corporate relations with corporate houses and other employers. The Placement Cell of IBCS iconduct campus placement events, career counselling, and soft-skills development workshops and seminars.
The Institution provides facilities for hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. The hostels are spacious, safe and secured with a cordial environment and surrounded by pleasant landscapes. A hygienic kitchen has been provided in each hostel with large dining halls. The rooms are well furnished. ITER has two in-campus girls' hostels accommodating one thousand students. Both the hostels have round the clock Wi-Fi connectivity and medical facility. Similarly, ITER has four boys' hostels accommodating one thousand students. Proper hygienic condition and strict supervision is maintained throughout.
