Civil Engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design and construction of the facilities that shape the world we live in. It also involves the maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment which includes an ordinary man’s dream of making a home to the multi projects like construction of bridges, dams, canals etc. It is traditionally broken into several sub disciplines including Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water resource Engineering, Materials Engineering, Coastal Engineering, Surveying, Construction Engineering etc.
