The journey of Shri Vaishnav Institute of Technology and Science (SVITS) Started in 1995 with three graduate programs and less than 200 students. Over the years SVITS has grown as a major academic institution in the country with more than 1600 students and advance engineering courses approved by AICTE. The institute is located at Sanwer road near Indore, enroute to Ujjain. The wide campus of 13 acres has a three storied building with airy classrooms, well-equipped and spacious laboratories, office rooms and other amenities. The total built up area of the institute is 19655 Sq. meter. The Technical Information Centre (Advanced Library) of the institute is spread in the area of 800 Sq. meter having specious two storied structure and has more than 15,600 books and subscription of about 50 national and International journals. It is proposed to have computerized receipt and issue facilities along with reproduction facilities in the new library campus.
