Course Details
The department started with the inception of the college in the year 2000. It has adequate number of well-qualified and experienced faculty and staff members specialized in different areas. Eminent professors from different universities and engineering colleges also serve the department as visiting professors.
The department has well equipped laboratories with updated versions of modern soft ware and hardware modules. The laboratories include Machine lab, Power system lab, Power electronics lab, Measurement lab, Thermal power engineering lab and Basic electrical engineering lab.

A Training and placement cell is functioning in the college for the benefit of the students. Though no guarantee can be given fro the placement of all the students, efforts are made to familiarize them with the working in industries. They are trained to present themselves in a manner to suitably expose their potential to prospective employers. While it may not be possible to change their trait and attitude altogether, major thrust will be to provide a finishing touch to their skill and knowledge.
