Information Technology is the latest discipline of science and technology gathering momentum to amalgamate the advanced technologies towards fulfilling the modern needs of the society. This discipline is an off shoot of computer science based upon the solid foundation of computer technology integrated with electronic & communication science. Its universal appeal in the form of IT enabled services is the outcome of splendid achievements by the scientists in the last two decades. The Department of IT in AITS has the modern facilites such as LCD / E-c1ass, seminar room" and conference hall etc. The students have extensive training programs in the subjects like C programming and Data structures, computer organization, principles of programming, OOPS through JAVA, Software Engineering, Networking, Computing and Information Security, Databases, Web Designing, Unified Modeling Language and Media Design. The students of IT in AITS gain up-to-date knowledge of programming languages, communication contexts and areas Including commerce and Wireless Application Protocol (WAP).
