Baba Saheb Ambedkar Technical Educational Society (a Society with National Presence) was established in 1995 by group of professionals dedicated for the upliftment of disadvantage groups of the Society. It recognizes not only the reserved groups Scheduled in the Constitution of India but also includes women, candidates below Poverty Line who are unable to pursue formal education in urge to earning their livelihood, Wards of Deceased Army and Police personnel, Wards of Widows and specially the School Dropouts.
The institution has always emphasized on Professional, Technical and Para Medical Education so that we can built a work force equipped with technical knowledge and craftsmen skills in a very short span of their lives. Apart from the Vocational courses, the Institution has also introduced Professional and Courses on Applied Sciences as per the demand of the growing Market, in Association with Karnataka State Open University. All the Formal and Distant Learning Courses are recognized by Government of India.
The Institution has also join hands with Indiacan (a Pearson Educomp Co.), a famous International name in English Language studies and Personality Development, so that the students may get an added advantage in the job market. The Institution has setup all State-of-the-Art Laboratories and very experienced faculty members so that the students can achieve the best scores in terms of success in their professional life.

The Institution for the first time is also introducing “Industry Sponsored Courses” wherein the students will be trained as per the requirement of the specific Industry and will be practically trained in the concerned Industry itself. After passing out from the course, they will be appointed in the concerned Industry. The Institution has also introduced the Department of Law and Department of Hospitality from the Academic session 2011 onwards to cater to the gap in this field.
