Institute Description

The trust was established in 1991 by Smt. Rajwati Bhatnagar in the memory of her educationist husband late Dr.K.K.Bhatnagar. The Purpose of the Trust was to guide the energy of the youth of the country in the right direction. This aim could only be achieved by educating the youth. Thus the trust ventured into the field of education by establishing educational institutions from primary level to higher education . The trust's aim was to instill the principles of services, nationalism and brotherhood into the young Indian mind in addition to just providing education. The Trust has also been carrying out various other social, national and charitable activities. Subharti is the manifestation of the ideas of a visionary Dr. Atul Krishna, a noted surgeon of Western Uttar Pradesh, ably supported by Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar, a reputed physician and medical imaging specialist. Way back in 1960’s children of professors of Meerut College residing in a small colony, known as Professors Colony, Victoria Park, formed a cultural group known as Baccha party. The activities were to arrange cultural functions and celebrate National Days like Independence Day, Republic Day etc. The name of Baccha party soon changed to Subharti Bal Sanstha. Atul Bhatnagar, son of one of the Professors, Dr. K. K. Bhatnagar, was one of the active members of the Sanstha. As Atul Bhatnagar grew in age and reached the adolescent age he changed the name of Subharti Bal Sanstha to Yuva Uthan Samiti.

The organization took the form of a social service Non Goverment Organization in 1974. The organization in addition to other social works used to arrange Medical Aid Camps in villages by tacking doctors with them, to provide free medical care to villagers at their door step. It was registerd as a Social Service Organization with the Registrar of Societies UP, under the name and style of Subharti Sewa Sanstha in 1978. Social service in various ways and generating feeling of national unity had been its main objectives. The dream was to established such Institutions of education and training that would produce highly skilled masters and graduates of education excelling in every field. Graced with versatile genius, gifted with a vibrant and lovable personality, Dr. Atul Krishna is not only a reputed surgeon of Northern India but he is also a great philanthropist, a learned thinker , visionary and a firm social-reformer , dedicated to the upliftment of the downtrodden and weaker section of the Society. Dr. Atul Krishna is the founder of SUBHARTI, a registered body engaged in social service through which he has established four primary and secondary level schools and five rural hospitals in the remotest part of villages. Dr. Atul is not only an ardent follower of Indian Culture but is also a selfless patriot. He is guidling force in bringing people together by removing hatred arising out of cast and communalism, spreading love, building up of moral and national character along with service of manking so as to make dream of "VASUDHEVA KUTUMBHKAM" come true.
