BIM's curriculum is periodically revised and restructured to meet the needs of ever-changing business environment. Experienced professionals from the Industry and Academia take part in this exercise of restructuring. BIM follows a trimester pattern of evaluation. The first year of the course provides rigorous grounding in all fields of management. The second year operates on a cafeteria approach wherein the student is allowed to choose from a range of courses.Business skills such as effective communication computation analytical and critical thinking managing information creativity and aesthetic awareness.

Hostel Facility

The course is fully residential with separate hostels for men and women. Both the hostels are located within the BHEL complex in the vicinity of the Institute. The hostels (Type-3 quarters having one hall and two rooms with 24 hours internet connectivity) have fully furnished rooms on double occupancy basis. A mess attached to the hostel provides quality vegetarian and non-vegetarian food.

Admission Process

Bachelor’s or Post Graduate Degree or its equivalent in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.
Final Year Degree students may also apply, subject to completion of the degree requirements with minimum 50% marks by July 2012.
CAT 2011 Scores are used for shortlisting candidates who apply for admission to BIM.
All applicants to BIM should take CAT Online Test (Conducted by IIMs from 22nd October to 18th November 2011)
