NIIT UNIVERSITY’s first ever final placement process, for the pioneering batch of 2010-12 students, has been successfully completed with the 100% placement. It was participated by 9 Companies. 60 % of the batch is going for Marketing, the most preferred profile among the students; 30% is going for Finance, the second most preferred profile; whereas others seek after the profiles like Consulting, Operations and General Management. So far, the average salary offered is INR 7 lakhs.

Scholarship

The successful candidates are offered Scholarship or “No Scholarship” based on their final marks (points out of 100) attained on completion of the Admission Process. The eligibility for scholarship to be given in the category is given in Table 9.1 B. If a candidate intends to avail scholarship that he has been awarded, he needs to confirm admission by depositing the first installment within 5 days of receiving the scholarship offer letter. A candidate who does not avail the scholarship offered within 5 days of the offer, his/her name is added to the scholarship roster. The exact scholarship depends on the available scholarships at the time of registration.

Educational Loan

ICICI Bank will provide subsidized loan at an interest rate of 2.5% p.a. against the fee [Service Tax on the loan amount will be paid by the students]. The EMIs for the loan would start after the programme is over (two years after the commencement of the programme).There would be no recovery of EMIs or interest during the initial programme period of 2 years.
