The placement cell handles all aspects of campus placements for the students at SIET. The office is well equipped with excellent infrastructure to support every stage of the placement process. The college has appropriate arrangements for pre-placement talks, written tests, interviews and group discussions etc. The Training and Placement cell also guides and helps the Final year students in securing jobs with their knowledge and achievements, by organizing campus Interviews and exploring various avenues for their placement.

SIET provides excellent hostel facilities for students. Gent's hostel and Ladies hostels are located in the campus itself so it makes easy access between college and students. The hostels and hostel facilities are of high quality and well equipped. The boys hostel can accommodate 450 boys and girls hostel 125 girls respectively Members of the teaching staff are appointed as Resident Tutors in the hostel. The rooms provide most modern facilities and privacy .

Admission to 85% seats in all above courses is made through UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination). Rest 15% is Management/ NRI quota.
