Shri Jairambhai Patel Institute of Business Management (Formerly known as National Institute of Cooperative Management), Gandhinagar conducts two-years full-time MBA programme since 1999 in affiliation with Gujarat University, Ahmedabad and recognized by AICTE, New Delhi. As per the Gujarat Government’s notification, from 2009 onwards all the self financed Institutes running MBA, MCA, Pharmacy and Engineering programmes have been affiliated to the Gujarat Technological University.This Institute offers specialization in four streams namely, Finance, Marketing and Human Resource.

Graduate
The candidate should have successfully completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, with minimum of 50% marks for general category students and 45% marks for SC/ST students. The applicants, who have completed their graduation from a university outside Gujarat recognized by AIU, should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination from any school located in Gujarat.

The companies can communicate with the placement committee regarding the openings available. Since the detailed Curriculum Vitae of all the candidates are provided in the CD, the companies can straight away communicate their shortlist to the placement committee. Placement Committee finalizes interviews on the dates mutually convenient to the Companies and the Students.
The companies visit the institute on the decided dates and time. The companies can conduct “Pre-placement Talk” before conducting the group discussion / personal interview.
Travel plans are to be communicated to the Placement Committee to organize reception.

The Institute provides a good hostel accommodation in the spacious hostel building. The Institute has separate well-furnished boys’ and girls’ hostels with the intake capacity of 132 and 50 respectively. The hostel also houses a mess to fulfill the regular food requirements of the students.
