The mission of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering is to impart under-graduate education in the discipline of Computer Science and Engineering. The department has been running B.Tech programme in Computer Science and Engineering from 2002 onwards. There are about 230 students enrolled in this program at present. The teaching missions of the Department encompass a widerange of areas,including multimedia,internet technologies,cryptography and security,databases,datamining,software engineering,computer architecture,compilers,operating systems,programming languages,artificial intelligence,computer graphics and visualization,algorithms and complexity theory
