The Institution offers 5 yrs Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program that is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The syllabus, course regulations, norms, guidelines, rules and the standards are strictly followed and abide by the University and Dental Council of India norms. The University and the Council monitors the Institutions performance that is the students and the faculty’s performance on a regular basis and advises on the areas of concern. KGFCDS prepares the students for patient – oriented dental practice and emphasizes prevention and early detection of dental diseases. The first two years are the “pre-clinical years” which comprises the study of basic medical science and development of basic clinical skills on patient simulates models. The next three years are the “Clinical years ” wherein the students are exposed to clinical environment and the treatment of patients.

Candidates who have passed the two years Pre-University Examination of Pre – University Board of Karnataka with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects are eligible for admission to the first year.
